We have a very simple formula that works:
Respect and Patience!!
Our initial meeting will include a simple assessment to determine your current strengths and abilities and set your learning goals.
Once we know what your current abilities are and what specifically you want to master, we will know where to start and how much further we have to go.
We will work together with guided, hands-on teaching
at your pace.
Do you like to watch and see a task demonstrated first?
Or, do you want to jump right to the mouse and be walked through it?
It's up to you!
Guided by a flexible curriculum, your learning success will come from being shown, doing it, and
having fun!
We will go through each lesson once, twice or as many times as you need.
We will move on only when you are ready.
Each lesson will build on the last one. That means that once you have finished learning how to "Install Your Own Software" you will have transferable skills that will make a subsequent lesson on "Virus Protection" much easier and faster. Because of this, it is best that we ensure that you have Basic Computer Skills .
I think you will be surprised at how easy learning computers can be when you don't feel rushed to keep up in a classroom setting.
This is a great opportunity to learn what YOU need to learn in a supportive and friendly way. And you will learn on your computer, with it's own quirks and oddities.
(It's like learning to drive in your own car!)
Why not give it a try and see for yourself.
